I’m a born-and-bred Estonian, happily sharing my home (& couch space) with three lovable couch-hoggers: Benny, Jess, & Waffles.  

My journey with animals began during my undergrad years where I worked as a dog handler & overnight attendant at dog daycares. From there, I moved into managing daycares & later found my true calling- working & volunteering in animal rescues across several states.

What started as a career in training has grown into a mission: building a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing stray & abandoned pets, providing rehabilitation when needed, & helping them find their way to the right forever families. Benny’s Best also serves as a bridge - connecting foster families with pets in need, both within our rescue & through partnerships with local organizations.

At the heart of my work is a simple belief: strong, trusting relationships between people & their pups create happier lives for both. While treats & toys can build engagement, it’s the bond you nurture day after day that truly transforms behavior & deepens connection.

Every dog I work with is approached with compassion, patience, & a sense of fun - and I encourage their humans to embrace the same. Because when care is filled with kindness & joy, everyone wins - especially the dogs who need us most 💜
